Rare Books

 

Have wanted to do this for awhile.  Finally found a great photo of vintage books crammed into a single shelf.  Size is 9x20" or so.  Just ordered the frame.

 

Old Salem Winter

 

I merged two non-Old-Salem drawings, made some coloration edits, etc. and this is what came out. It's 11x16" or so.

Started and stopped and started and stopped on this one for at least 8 months.  Had no idea that I would have such luck with painting the horses.  And in an ornate, custom wood frame ... it looks really awesome.

Santa Claus Advertising (1953)

This was a poster-size (newspaper?) print from 1953.  I made my own improvements, as well as changing the year to 1962.  Size was adjusted to fit a swap-out frame I have on a wall in my kitchen.

 

French Bistro

Finding that Picasso did a LOT of work without twisting faces out of whack.  This one is appx 8x13.  I'll have to say that the "impressionism" in this one made it difficult at times to figure out what shapes were supposed to be.  Custom ramed.
