If you're from North Carolina, you've likely been to this historic spot in Watauga County.  I decided to leave the contrail in the painting.  Not sure why.  Those thick, gangly wires and their shadows that fall across the storefront fooled me for the better part of a day's work. Where did reality end, and shadow begin?
